In a group project at NC State, I helped develop the concept for an AI-powered stock management app. Designed to empower small businesses by utilizing SAS®'s API tools, we aimed to bridge the technological gap between mom-and-pop shops and large retailers through the power of SAS®'s database management, predictive suggestioning, and forecasting.

Identifying Pain Points & Opportunities
To recognize the potential challenges we could address and resolve with our app, we developed a user journey and persona to work through the experience of inventory management.
We noticed shortcomings in the ability to track and act on sales trends, the deployment of new product information across locations, and efficiently managing when inventory is low.
Video Walkthrough
To showcase the various utilities within Invi, we created a video going through the user journey we developed. My role in the production was designing a majority of the UI and editing the video.
In the walkthrough, Invi recognizes that temperatures are rising and alerts the user to restock on cold snacks that her Wendell store is running low on. During the process, it recommends for the user to make a product transfer from her other location and complete both orders together.
Designing the User Experience
Making sure the app was accessible and intuitive for the small business owners it was targeted towards was a high priority in the design process.
The interface features dynamic environments based on sales trends and conditions, clear and legible infographics on product information, and heavily focuses on making every interaction seamless, from checking order statuses to logging new items for sale.
